Belo Horizonte means "beautiful horizon" in Portuguese and is the name of a city in Brazil.

It is also the name of a Bossa Nova Duo which seeks to explore this beautiful horizon of Bossa Nova music with it's constant change of Major and Minor and the bitter-sweet taste of Saudade.

Great musicians like João Gilberto, the great composer Antonio Carlos "Tom" Jobim and wonderful singers like Ellis Regina have created a whole universe not just left for us to explore by listening to their records, but to play and revive day by day.
